Our Leadership

Christian Meunier was appointed chairperson of the management committee for Americas in January 2025. In this role, he oversees operations and strategy across North and South America and leads regional execution of the Re:Nissan transformation plan.

Tatsuzo Tomita was appointed chief of total delivered cost (TdC) transformation at Nissan in April 2025, leading initiatives to optimize monozukuri cost. In addition to this role, he is also responsible for vehicle planning and vehicle component engineering.

Shohei Yamazaki was appointed chairperson of the management committee for Japan and ASEAN in January 2025 and, as of April, also assumed responsibility for Nissan’s affiliated companies. In this role, he oversees regional performance and leads efforts to strengthen Nissan’s operations across these key markets.

Manabu Sakane was appointed chief of strategy acceleration at Nissan in April 2025. In this role, he oversees corporate strategy, governance, external affairs, sustainability and market intelligence, and is responsible for monitoring and driving its progress under the Re:Nissan recovery plan.
