The seven finalists were selected in accord with the Vision of Nissan Art Award (*), based on whether the works are accessible for the audience to engage with, and/or experiment with new materials and ways of thinking. Jean de Loisy, one of the International Jury members noted, “The choice has focused an unknown vocabulary that being a new type of poetry.”
In addition, whether the works can be re-exhibited was taken into consideration, given that the artworks will become a part of the Nissan Art Collection.
