Human craftsmanship that conveys the spirit of Nissan to everyone who drives our cars. Deploying the most advanced technology and our utmost dedication, we seek the very highest levels of quality.
The Tochigi Plant began operations in 1968 casting aluminum and iron, then added machining and assembly of axles the following year. When the assembly plant was completed in 1971, the site had an integrated production system that handles the entire process through final car assembly. Boasting the largest area of all Nissan plants in Japan, the Tochigi Plant produces luxury and sports cars.
