Nissan R90CP(1990: R90C)

This is Nissan R90CP YHP (driven by M. Hasemi and A. Olofsson) for All-Japan Sports Prototype Championship (JSPC) in 1991. The car number "1" is the proof of the champion of the previous year. It ran the season-opening race only. R91CP ran the 2nd race and after.

R90CP was Nissan's original racing car for JSPC and Le Mans in 1990. While R90CK (used by NME and NPTI) adopted revised Lola chassis, R90CP adopted chassis thoroughly revised by Nissan and original cowl designed by Yoshitaka Suzuka. R91CP was 100% Nissan-made with Nissan's original full carbon monocoque. R90CP, R91CP and R92CP won Drivers Title and Manufacturers Title in 3 successive years from 1990 through 92.
