Since 2005, Nissan’s support for Habitat for Humanity has surpassed $15.5 million. In response to hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005, Nissan donated 50 Nissan Titan trucks to assist Habitat’s response efforts along the Gulf Coast and mobilized employees to partner in home building. Since 2006, Nissan employees have helped to build 78 homes across the United States. Nissan’s employees have logged more than 97,000 volunteer hours building homes with Habitat for Humanity, including support of the annual Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project.
