Skyline 2000GT-E·L (1979: HGC211)

The fifth generation Skyline C210 was released in 1977. Unlike the fourth generation C110 "Skyline for Ken and Mary" with laid-back form, C210 had a sharp styling that was reminiscent of the third generation C10 "Ai-no-Skyline (Skyline Of Love)". It has a nickname "Japan" that came from the copy "Skyline Japan", meaning a great car cultivated in Japan.
It was remodeled to C211 to comply with the emission control regulations in 1978. Performance improvement was pausing at the time because of increasing rigor of emission control. It was the most difficult time for Skyline.
This car is 2000 GT-E·L with EGI engine of 130ps. The model was C211 of the early days manufactured in 1979.
