The third generation Bluebird 510 was rolled out in August 1967 and immediately acquired a very good reputation because of a sharp body shape with no ventilation windows, high basic performance and usefulness realized by advanced mechanisms such as the OHC engine and four-wheel independent suspension. The global sales reached more than a million and a half in 5 years.
