Sedan
Starting with the U11 (seventh-generation model), launched in October 1983, the Bluebird was transformed into an FF car; it was also now badged as a "Nissan". The following year, in October, the Maxima was introduced as the top-grade U11 series; it was the first Japanese FF car with a V6 engine. The most advanced version, the Legrand, featured an electronically controlled suspension. A 4-door sedan was also available.
