Skyline 2000GTS-R(1987: KHR31)

The seventh generation Skyline R31 was rolled out with the copy "This is urban engineering" in 1985. It adopted various innovations such as "RB" engine (6-cyl., DOHC), ceramic turbo charger, and "HICAS" four-wheel drive system, but was talked critically that significantly enlarged body, elimination of 2-door model from lineup, and luxury-car line advocating "driver-friendly high performance" didn't fit Skyline.
The long-awaited 2-door coupe was added in 1986. "GTS-R" won the title at Japan Touringcar Championship (JTC) in 1989, publicizing its existence. This is "GTS-X" with the engine of 6-cyl. 4-valve DOHC with turbo, 180ps mounted on 2-door coupe and special aluminum wheels.
