The eighth generation Bluebird U12 was released in 1987 with "ATTESA", the groundbreaking fulltime 4WD system that used viscous coupling in center differential. "CA" engine series on U12 was replaced with "SR" engine series at a minor change in 1989. U12 was one of the sportiest models among generations of Skyline and was equipped with a lot of new technologies. It even had a variation of rally car "SSS-R" based on "SSS ATTESA Limited" of full-time 4WD with turbo engine. "SSS-R" won the championship of Japan Rally Championship in 1988.
This car is "SSS ATTESA X" of 4WD with SR20DE engine of 140ps, STC (Super Toe Control) and viscous LSD (limited slip differential).
