Pulsar GTI-R(1992: RNN14)

NISSAN challenged grueling overseas rallies for several decades with varieties of machines such as the first rally car DATSUN Sedan, Bluebird, 240Z, Violet and Silvia. "GTI-R" that is the sports model of the 4th generation Pulsar (Model N14) rolled out in 1990 also participated in World Rally Championship (WRC) under the Group A regulations in 1991 and 1992. The reason Pulsar was chosen was that a high-performance DOHC turbo engine and the 4WD system called "ATTESA" (Advanced Total Traction Engineering System for All) could be packed in a compact body. The engine output of the works machines reached 300ps.
This is the genuine machine that S. Blomqvistand B. Melanderdrove at Lombard RAC Rally of Great Britain in 1992.
