Prince Gloria Super 6(1964: S41D)

The first generation Prince Gloria BLSI, a luxury passenger car that made a debut in 1959, shared the body with Skyline ALSI. Gloria was remodeled to the second generation S40 with the modern flat deck style in 1962. "Super 6" was added in 1963 on which 6-cyl. inline SOHC engine "G7" was mounted, which was the first case in 2-liter cars. 1988cc G7 was the first engine in Japan that broke through 100ps, generating 105ps.
This high-powered engine enabled Gloria to be active in the motor sports. At the 2nd Japan Grand Prix "T-VI Race" in 1964, No.39 steered by H. Oishi won the championship and No.38 steered by Y. Sugita finished 2nd. This is the championship spec car.
