President Type C (1968: H150)

A new high-end passenger car "President" (150) was rolled out in 1965 as a successor of Cedric Special (50). The concept of exterior was the harmony of curved lines with aerodynamic performance. Two types of engine were adopted; 6-cyl. in line and 2,974cc for limousines, and V8 3,988cc and 180ps with oil tappet and silent chain for quietness.
Comfortability was realized by items such as the first power steering system on domestic vehicles, heated rear window, dimming rear-view mirror, variable speed wiper, remote-control side mirrors and air conditioner for rear seat to be one of the best cars in Japan. This is "C-spec" car in 1968 with V8 engine.
