Nissan Patrol (1972: 60)

The second generation Patrol 60 remained a long-selling product from 1960 to 1980 when the next generation Safari 160 was released. Robust design of ladder frame and leaf rigid suspension was passed down from the first generation 4W60.
2WD and 4WD could be switched by a lever. The lineup was short body (the wheelbase of 2200mm), long body (the wheelbase of 2500mm), soft top/hard top/van/station wagon. It is also adopted as fire engine because of its powerful engine and mobility.
In overseas markets, the name Patrol has been passed down since the first generation that was born in 1951. This is the most long-lasting name except "Nissan/Datsun Pickup". This car is Soft Top of Short Body.
