Specialty Car
The third generation Pulsar N13 was released in May 1986 and its coupe model branched off to Nissan EXA (KEN13) in October in the same year. "Coupe" itself was a center of attention because of retractable headlamps and T-Top, but "Canopy" with removable rear roof was a hotter topic as an unconventional unique car.
Styling was designed by NDA (former Nissan Design International: NDI) in U.S. Removable rear hatch and canopy could be switched on cars for export, which was unfortunately not allowed in Japan by regulations. T-Top was also removable. So, users could enjoy changing styling. This car is "Type B" of the upper grade with canopy and alloy wheels.
