March Super Silhouette(1982: K10)

The first generation March K10 was rolled out in 1982. The image character was a popular singer/actor Masahiko "Matchy" Kondo and the model became very popular due to appealing copies such as "Matchy's March" and "Super Idol".
This car is one and only special machine with a similar appearance to that of racing machines of "Super Silhouette (Group 5)". It was manufactured for M. Kondo who was known as a car lover and wanted to be a racing driver. Mounted engine of E15 (1500cc, OHC) was tuned up to 160ps. The impressive body riveted people's attention. M. Kondo practiced driving technique for motor sports on this car around 1983 and started a career as a racing driver.
