The fourth generation Cedric 330 was released in 1975. The lineup was the same as that of favored 230; 4-door sedan, 2-door/4-door hardtop and van, but the styling became more intricate. It cleared the exhaust emission regulations in 1975 by NAPS (Nissan Anti Pollution System). The model 331 was released in 1976 to comply with the regulations of that year and 332 was released in 1978 to comply with the regulations of that year. Sedan with diesel engine of 2200cc was added in 1977, which suggested the potential for the age of diesel engines.
The model 330 as well as 230 could be seen in police dramas televised years ago.
