Nissan Pulsar (Sunny) GTI-R (1992: RNN14)

Pulsar GTI-R was developed as top performance model of the fourth generation Pulsar N14 to compete in World Rally Championship (WRC) under "Group A" regulations and was rolled out in 1990. Mechanisms featured 2000cc turbo engine that generated 230ps and 4WD controlled by "ATTESA". It is very popular as a road car of impressive appearance with a giant hood bulge that houses a large intercooler and a giant rear spoiler.

It started to participate in WRC in 1991. The best result was the third place at Swedish Rally in 1992, but Nissan decided to withdraw from WRC in the same year. It was for only 2 years that the machine joined WRC. However, it won the title of the year in Group N and proved its high potential.
