Nissan Laurel Hardtop 2000GL-6 (1972: KHC130)

The second generation Nissan Laurel C130 rolled out in 1972 was a luxurious car like the first generation C30 and also "a car with luxury and high quality that the owner can boast" in the 1970s. The copy "Drive easy, live easy" was sensational and went ahead of the times since Japan was still amid the high-growth period.

The form of 4-door sedan and 2-door hardtop featured "Thunder streak", i.e., the side of body was pressed into "Z" shape. Especially 2-door was very popular because its form viewed from the rear looked like an American car. This car is "2000GL-6" in the early days with L20 single cab 115ps engine. Engine variations on C130 totaled 6 from 1800cc to 2800cc.
