Datsun Sunny 1000 Coupe (1969: KB10)

The first generation DATSUN Sunny 1000 that opened the door to "The Age of private cars" in Japan was rolled out in April 1966. It was a DATSUN car with variations of 2-door sedan and van. 4-door and truck (B20) were added in 1967 and smartish fastback coupe was added in 1968 to increase the number of variations.

Coupe was greatly favored by mostly young people as a stylish and affordable private car. 4-cyl. OHV engine of 1000cc generated 60ps. The floor shift transmission and the car weight as light as 675kg helped to create the image that Sunny is a sporty compact car.

This car is manufactured in 1969 and colored in "Sun-kissed Yellow" that match up with Sunny's image of "Sun".
