Nissan Elgrand 4WD V (2001: APWE50)

A new type of minivan "Elgrand" E50 rolled out in 1997 was a pioneer of "full-sized minivan" that is extremely popular in Japan now. Developed based on the concept of "High-end minivan of the new generation", Elgrand had the massive form and the comfortable and spacious interior space. The flat floor realized by packaging FR layout and semi-cab-over type body enabled a passenger to walk between seats. Comfortable seats with a sense of high quality and luxury created a space for relaxation.

E50 was a driving force behind the age of luxurious minivans in Japan and the accumulated sales volume exceeded 200 thousand until 2002 when the next generation E51 was rolled out.
