Nissan Fairlady 280Z-T 2-seater T-top (1982: HS130)

Fairlady Z, unusual for sports car, became a global hit when it was rolled out in 1969. It was evolved into the second generation S130 at a full-model change in 1978. Lineup in Japan was "Z" with 6-cyl. inline OHC, 2000cc engine and "280Z" with 2800cc engine. It is known as "DATSUN 280ZX" in overseas.

This is two-seater 280Z with Japan's first "T-top" that built a sense of openness. Since T-top structure provided much more rigidity of body than fully openable roof, could meet severe collision safety standards, and required no big modification of body structure, it became prevalent in US in 1980s.

This car is specially colored in black and silver.
