Minivan
The first generation "Vanette Serena" C23 rolled out in 1991 was a minivan of a new type that got favorable reviews for the semi-cab-over type body and practicality. It is the direct ancestor of "Serena" that has been on the market for more than 30 years.
C23, developed based on the concept of "Family vehicle of the new generation that offers fun and comfortableness to all the passengers", became a big hit due to the endearing form, the interior space that generated a feeling of closeness, and the joy of driving created by the 4-wheel independent suspension and the midship layout. It is still remembered as a car that triggered the minivan boom in Japan in the 90s.
