The first generation Cube Z10, based on the second generation March/Micra K11, was a revolutionary model that realized spacious cabin for 4 people and high usability by tall, square wagon-type body and glass hatch.
It was rolled out in 1998 and became a big hit since there were no similar compact cars in Japan at the time. Cumulative sales of the first generation Cube reached as many as 400,000 during 5 years from 1998 to 2002 when the second generation Z11 made a debut. It was a victory of concept that younger people in the late 1990s enjoyed their leisure time with friends and the new model should capture them.
This is the highest grade 4WD Cube "X" with aluminum wheels as standard.
