Nissan Middle Sports (Z Prototype) (1997: S14rev.)

In mid-1990s, various approaches were discussed within Nissan to determine a new Z-car after 300ZX Z32. This is one of the prototypes manufactured based on left-hand-drive Nissan 240SX S14 (Silvia in Japan). KA24DE engine (4-cyl. inline) was tuned to generate 200ps in front mid-ship layout, and the form was Z-like nifty fastback style that created a unique charm.

It is said that Mr. Y. Katayama (Mr. K), the father of Z-car, drove the car at Tochigi Proving Ground, felt a sense of unity with the car and DNA of Z, and liked it.

Although being a stillborn model, it was stored in Nissan for more than 20 years and was restored by Nissan's prototype production section.
