Nissan Sunny 1500 EX Saloon (1988: FB12)

The sixth-generation Sunny B12 Series released in 1985 was a hit model given the nickname "Trad Sunny" from the advertising copy "TRAD SUNNY" that appealed to universal values regardless of the era. The youthful, clean styling, high-quality image evoked by the word "trad", together with the appealing TV commercial featuring several hit songs by the late-era Beatles contributed to the rejuvenation of the aging Sunny owner demographic.

The body types lined up with the 3-door hatchback and 5-door "California" in addition to the 4-door sedan, while the 3-door vehicle had a unique grade composition with grade names of "303", "305", and "306" depending on the engine size. In 1986 the variation was broadened with the addition of the sharp 3-door coupe "RZ-1".

The car here is the medium class 1500 EX Saloon that had undergone minor change in 1987.
