Infiniti Q45 was rolled out in November 1989 as the flagship model of the new premium brand "INFINITI" in the U.S. market. The Q45 went on sale in Japan as well.
With the concept "Japan Original", Nissan pursued the concept of values unique to Japan but acknowledged also in foreign countries, which resulted in a unique styling without front grille and adoption of Japanese traditional craftworks such as cloisonné front emblem.
Mounted was a newly developed 4.5-liter V8 DOHC engine, and the world's first "Hydraulic Active Suspension" was equipped in the "Selection Package". This car is equipped with red leather seats and the standard suspension system in Burgundy (PM) body.
