The FairladyZ, also known as the export model name "Datsun 240Z", challenged world rallies to prove its high performance.
This car is the overall winner of the 19th East-African Safari Rally in 1971, and brought Nissan's second win in a row, following the victory in the previous year by the Datsun Bluebird. The engine mounted on the competition machine was L24 with in line 6-cylinder OHC 2393cc and generated 210ps.
This car was restored by "Nissan Restoration Club" in 2013 to the drivable condition while preserving the appearance at the rally's finish line.
