Datsun 1000 Sedan(1952: DC-3)

Datsun Sports (DC-3) was originally a concept car planned by Yutaka Katayama, built on the same chassis as Datsun Sedan DB-2 and Pickup 5147. It had a sporty open-top body that was specially designed by SukekazuOhta. It was unveiled in January 1952 in the Nissan's own exhibition and it got so much of favorable reviews. That made Nissan produce by 20 units of them and sell to the customers. This is Japan's first "Sports Car" with the name of "Sports", and also a monumental car that precedes Datsun Fairladyand current Z-car ("the FairladyZ" in Japanese market).
