Datsun Bluebird was fully remodeled to the second generation 410 in September 1963, when the number of automobiles in Japan exceeded a million. This model was designed by famous Italian carrozzeriaPininfarinaS.p.A. in a European style with a flat hood.
Monocoquebody structure was adopted to satisfy both the weight reduction and the stiffness. This generation had originally 2 engine types of 1-liter and 1.2-liter (max. power 45ps and 55ps respectively), but “1200SS” (Sports Sedan), “1300SS” and “1600SSS” (Super Sports Sedan) were added in later years. This car is “1200 Deluxe” of the early 410.
