Sedan
Datsun 1000 Sedan and Pickup (210 and 220 respectively) were rolled out in November 1957. Cars were not what everybody could own at the time in Japan, but popularization of cars was getting widespread. The exhibition at Imported Car Show at L.A., USA in January 1958 and the class win of Datsun 1000 “Fuji” at Mobilgas Trial (Round Australia) in the same year triggered Nissan’s full-scale export to North America. This Datsun 1000 in silver is a car with the steering wheel at the left side for North America and was donated by HOSHINO IMPUL Co., Ltd. The president is Kazuyoshi Hoshino, the former one-of-the-best race drivers. The successor of this Datsun 1000 was the first generation Datsun Bluebird (310). The silver paintwork is not original.
