Laurel 4-door Hardtop 2000 Turbo SGX (1981: HC31)

The fourth generation Laurel C31 made a debut in 1980. The concept was vehicles with advanced performance and global awareness for owners of upper class in 1980s". It got favorable reviews for sleek aerodynamic form and high basic performance. It featured a low waistline, large windows, and the low center-of-gravity. 4-door hardtop model achieved the outstanding drag coefficient (Cd) of 0.38.
The idea that the basic performance of run, turn, stop is important even for luxury cars was a belief of S. Sakurai, the chief engineer of C31. The idea still stands in Nissan.
This is a high-grade model 2000 Turbo SGX with L20ET turbo engine (6-cyl., 145ps, 2000cc).
