The following year, the company name was changed to Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. An integrated production system was established at the Yokohama Plant, making Nissan the first Japanese automobile manufacturer to mass produce, with exports to Asia, Central and South America, and other markets. Later, having weathered post-War turmoil, Nissan sought to further establish its automotive technology through development of new products and technical alliances.1933-1957
