Based on customer demands for a diverse range of exciting vehicles, Nissan will introduce 27 new electrified models, including 19 new EVs by fiscal 2030.Nissan is committed to supporting greater access to safe and exciting forms of mobility. By installing more advanced lithium-ion batteries and our proprietary all-solid-state batteries (ASSBs), we aim to launch cost-competitive EVs with improved dynamic mobility and driving performance. In addition, we are also seeking to deliver advanced driver assistance and intelligent technologies such as ProPILOT and high-performance next-generation LIDAR systems. We hope more customers can experience the value of these technologies as we work to enhance them even further. To meet the diverse array of transportation needs in different countries across the globe, Nissan will collaborate with optimal partners to realize new mobility services for more efficient mobility in cities, as well as more sustainable mobility in rural areas.In addition to technology upgrades, Nissan is promoting localization of manufacturing and sourcing with the aim of making EVs more competitive. Nissan will expand its unique EV Hub concept, EV36Zero, unveiled in the UK in 2021, to core markets including Japan, China, and the US.
