NOTES:
1. Nissan's domestic production in November decreased 6.7% to 122,438 units from a year earlier, marking the twelfth straight month of year-on-year decrease.
Overseas production was up 15.2% to 93,690 units, marking the fourth consecutive year-on-year increase. Nissan's overseas production volume increased at all of its four major overseas plants (U.S., Mexico, UK and Spain) last month over November 1998.
2. Nissan's domestic sales in November decreased 8.8% to 57,711 units, marking the third consecutive year-on-year decrease. Nissan's domestic market share was also down 1.8 points to 17.6% compared with that for November 1998.
3. Nissan's exports in November decreased 8.4% to 55,772 units. This was the eighth consecutive year-on-year decline.
