Faster, more precise and less expensive: high-quality repair and maintenance

Rapid diagnostics for vehicle repairs: identifying the causes of defects

The new vehicle diagnostics test system

Our vehicle diagnostic system allows us to analyze defects in just a third of the time the previous system required. The system uses graphs and other easy-to-understand indicators to explain the problem to the customer, and also enables on-the-spot online orders for replacement parts. This has significantly reduced the time between the diagnosis of a problem and the completion of repairs, allowing us to get vehicles back to our customers much more rapidly.
The new vehicle diagnostic system is also capable of performing tests while the vehicle is being driven. We can conduct tests to solve a problem that appears under specific driving conditions, such as a noise that occurs only on rainy days.

Considering ease of maintenance right from the design stage

Design that takes maintenance efficiency into consideration

Nissan considers ease of maintenance from the design stage, since having to reposition a part during the development stages would be time consuming, difficult and costly. We design our vehicles so that parts requiring frequent changing or regular maintenance, such as the oil filter, are easily accessible.

The lower the running cost, the better: designing vehicles that are easier to service

A collision-resistant, easy-to-repair bumper

Nissan continually seeks ways to reduce what our customers have to pay for their vehicle repairs and insurance. For example, we design bumpers in shapes that minimize damage and are easy to repair yet maintain a smooth balance with the vehicle's design. Our constant aim is to build vehicles that are both attractive and easy to repair.
