The 41th Tokyo Motor Show 2009 Digest (2009/10/23)
Nissan presented a variety of show cars at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show (held from October 23rd to November 4th), including the "LEAF," an electric vehicle (EV) slated for global launch and volume production in late 2010, and the "Land Glider," an EV concept car.
Nissan's ultimate goal in the environmental field is zero emissions. Nissan exhibits focused on concept cars and on the development of related technologies and battery-charging infrastructure in an effort to communicate the company's commitment to consumers.
In addition to EVs, the Nissan exhibit featureda wide range of models and technologies including hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), clean diesel technology and next-generation X-TRONIC CVTs.
