On the outskirts of the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur, Sepang International Circuit played host to Round 4 of the SUPER GT series. Starting from a fourth-place qualifying result, the KONDO Racing's WOODONE ADVAN Clarion GT-R took the win. In second place, the pole-starting MOTUL AUTECH GT-R came second, resulting in a resounding 1-2 finish for the NISSAN GT-R. KONDO Racing was also victorious last year; that win coming in a NISSAN Z. It is the team's second successive Sepang victory.

On July 15, in cerebration of the victory, a debriefing event of KONDO RACING TEAM was held with the director Masahiko Kondo and two drivers, Joao Paolo de Oliveira and Seiji Ara at Nissan Ginza Gallery. They expressed their delights of the victory to the many fans who came to join in the event.
