Nissan held an inauguration ceremony for its global headquarters building in the Minato Mirai 21 Area in Yokohama on August 2. The new headquarters, which has already been awarded the highest "S Rank" rating by the Japanese CASBEE organization (Comprehensive Assessment System For Building Environmental Efficiency), reduces CO2 emissions by more than 27% compared to Nissan's former headquarters as well as conserves energy by effectively harnessing natural resources.
