24th Nissan Children's Storybook and Picture Book Grand Prix (2008/03/07)
Nissan announced 38 winning stories for the 24th Nissan Children's Storybook and Picture Book Grand Prix, for which the company is the main sponsor.
The Grand Prix attracted 3,062 entries from amateur authors and illustrators between July and October 2007.
The story book Grand Prize was awarded to "Haruninattara Aketekudasai" by Ms. Kunie Masui while the picture book Grand Prize was presented to "Moimoi no Pokke" by Mr. H@L. (pronounced Haru)
The two Grand Prize stories will be published and sold at bookstores after December. The books will also be distributed to various public and private libraries and educational institutions across Japan, courtesy of Nissan.
