Nissan introduced the world's first Around View Monitor, which offers the driver a bird's eye view of the vehicle and its surroundings in real-time. It is particularly helpful when parking, enabling the driver to steer easily and precisely into a parking space. In Japan, the Around View Monitor debuted in the new Elgrand, which went on sale at the end of October, followed by the new Serena minivan in December. The technology was also offered to the U.S market in the all-new Infiniti EX35 launched in December.
