NISSAN "MONOZUKURI" CARAVAN (July 5, 2007)
As a new activity scheme, Nissan kicked off the "Nissan Monozukuri Caravan" aimed for 5th graders to experience creating things.
The students learn about process improvement "Kaizen" using assembly blocks.
And also, they get to experience actual monozukuri as they come into contact with actual automotive parts and tools under the supervision of experienced vehicle assemblers.
This is a unique program from Nissan to introduce students to the interesting world of manufacturing.
