Full-scale operation of Global Production Engineering Center (May 29, 2007)
Nissan announced that its new Global Production Engineering Center, located at Zama operation in Kanagawa began full-scale operations since April 2007.
As the focal point for production engineering and development for all of Nissan's production facilities worldwide, Global Production Engineering Center will play a key role in redefining Nissan's global standards in manufacturing.
The Global Production Technological Center was established to oversee all aspects of production and technologies.
