Nissan and NEC groups have signed an agreement to establish a joint-venture company, Automotive Energy Supply Corporation. This new company aims to supply lithium-ion batteries for electric-powered vehicles including hybrids, plug-in hybrids and electric vehicles to manufactures in the automobile-related industries throughout the world by 2009.
