Cedric Special(1964: 50)

As the first genuine domestic large passenger vehicle, this Cedric Special attracted much attention at the 9th Japan Motor Show in 1962. The 6-cylinder in line OHV K engine (2,825cc, 115PS) and 2,835mm wheelbase put this car in the same class as the Mercedes-Benz 220S. This particular vehicle had the important task of carrying the Olympic torch for the Tokyo Olympics, which was held in the year following the car's launch.
