NISSAN plants conduct tours for approximately 140,000 elementary school pupils annually as one way of supporting social studies classes.

Together with the local community, the Oppama Plant cosponsors the NISSAN Cup Oppama Championship, a full-fledged marathon wheelchair race that attracts participants from all over Japan. NISSAN provides a course on the plant premises, and some 700 employees also assist with the race as volunteers.

The NISSAN Technical Center cooperates with the Summer Vacation Handicrafts Workshop for Children by sending employees to serve as teachers.

Employees at NISSAN plants and offices take part in voluntary campaigns to clean up the local environment.
