Program#2 Participation of each employee

Just as a company is a citizen of society, so are its employees. To respond to employees' interests in volunteer or social activities, the company has prepared the necessary systems for support. We initiated the Financial Support Program and provide information regarding volunteer activities to our employees so that they can freely participate in volunteer activities at any time.

NISSAN Financial Support Program for Volunteer Activities

NISSAN initiated this program in 1996 to provide financial support for employees' involvement in volunteer activities. In addition to making gifts matching employees' charitable donations, NISSAN also provides funds for supporting volunteer activities or purchasing necessary supplies when money for such expenses is lacking. In this way, NISSAN supports and encourages employees to participate voluntarily in community activities and to make charitable contributions.

Supporting Collection of Contributions and Other Volunteer Activities by Employees in Times of Disaster

Collections are taken up among the employees to raise funds for supporting the victims of natural disasters such as earthquakes, as well as the victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks in the United States, Afghanistan refugees and others.
