"The 16th Nissan Joyful Storybook and Picture Book Exhibition" is held at the Atrium Gallery of the National Children's Castle ‚†rom Tuesday, March 25 th through Sunday, April 6, 2008. The theme of this year's exhibition is "Ehon batake ha Niko-Niko badake(Picture book-field - filled with smiles-)". You can enjoy the large panels of "Suika Bouze", the prize-winner picture book of the 24th Nissan Children's Storybook and Picture book Grand Prix", and handcraft workshops.

15th Nissan Joyful Storybook and Picture Book Exhibition: ehon de Genki Morimori Matsuri |
The 15th Nissan Joyful Storybook and Picture Book Exhibition was held at the Atrium Gallery of the National Children's Castle from Saturday, March 24 through Thursday, April 5, 2007.
The theme for this year's exhibition was "Ehon de Genki Morimori Matsuri." At the the main entrance, large panels from the pages of "Haru to Kaminari", the Grand Prize winner of the 22nd Nissan Children's Storybook and Picture Book Grand Prix's picture, were displayed and welcomed visitors. Many families visited this spring vacation event and enjoyed workshops and exhibits in the home-made atmosphere.

14th Nissan Joyful Storybook and Picture Book Exhibition: Michi Michite (Many Winding Trails) |
The 14th Nissan Joyful Storybook and Picture Book Exhibition was held at the Atrium Gallery of the National Children's Castle from Saturday, March 25 through Wednesday, April 5, 2006.
The theme was Michi Michite (Many Winding Trails). This was the motif from Shiroi Michi, the winner of the Grand Prize in the Picture Book Category of the 21st Nissan Children's Storybook and Picture Book Grand Prix. The exhibition featured a workshop where the children were able to enjoy creating their own works of art. The exhibition also displayed original drawings of the prize winners from the Grand Prix, together with picture books that had won the international Hans Christian Andersen Award. Nissan successfully created an exhibition space that transported the visitor to revel in the wonders of being a child.
