"The 16th Nissan Joyful Storybook and Picture Book Exhibition" is held at the Atrium Gallery of the National Children's Castle from Tuesday, March 25 th through Sunday, April 6, 2008.

The theme of this year's exhibition is "Ehon batake ha Niko-Niko badake(Picture book-field - filled with smiles- )". Large panels of "Suika Bouze", the prize-winner picture book of the 24th Nissan Children's Storybook and Picture book Grand Prix, are exhibited along the wall of the gallery. Balloon displays of Suika bouze is also the highlight of the exhibitions.

The venue is also displayed with beautiful tapestries made by families from the National Children's Castle's Friendship Circle (Tomo no Kai). Children can enjoy handcraft workshops in front of them.

This spring too, the venue of "The 16th Nissan Joyful Storybook and Picture Book Exhibition" is crowded with children.
