Nissan formed a partnership with the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) in 2014 as part of its ongoing effort of pursuing a safer society with less road accidents.
The partnership sees Nissan promoting road safety worldwide as the Official Supporter of the FIA Action For Road Safety campaign, itself contributing to the UN's "Decade of Action For Road Safety". Together with the FIA, Nissan aims to tackle the many road accident injuries and casualties occurring worldwide by advocating safe behaviors such as the ones written in the FIA Golden Rules.

Major Activities

Nissan Safety Driving Forum

Nissan Safety Driving Forum

Collaboration with "Nissan Safety Driving Forum" (NSDF). This event teaches visitors the importance of safe driving as well as specific safe driving tips through driving simulators and other engaging content. At the NSDF in Russia, visitors learned about the FIA Golden Rules and signed the FIA Online Pledge to declare their commitment to safe driving.

NISMO Festival

NISMO Festival

Collaboration with Nissan's in-house motorsport division NISMO, at the annual NISMO festival. The FIA Action For Road Safety core message of road safety was communicated through such activities as logos featured on the festival cars and professional drivers pledging to drive safely in front of the many racing fans. Other activities include an interactive quiz event, a driver talk show with live signing of the banner, and the setting up of a dedicated booth where many visitors promised to follow the road safety rules by signing the FIA Online Pledge.
